In the third quarter of 2024, virtual pet applications saw varied performance on the unified platform in Austria. According to Sensor Tower, these apps showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Pengu – Raise Virtual AI Pets from SLAY GmbH showed a fluctuating revenue trend, starting from approximately $724 and dropping to around $284 before rebounding to $615 by the end of September. Downloads for Pengu also varied, with a notable spike to 3.1K in late September, while weekly active users initially declined from 16.2K to 6.8K before rising again to about 10.2K.

My Talking Tom 2 by Outfit7 Limited maintained a relatively stable revenue flow, peaking at $52 in early September. The app’s downloads showed a slight decrease towards the end of the quarter, ending at 831. Meanwhile, weekly active users experienced a gradual decline from 16.7K to 14.6K.
